Championship Golf Course Tees up for Website Success
Fairwood Park Golf Club have teamed up with local Web designer Thomas Design to develop a fresh new look to their Web presence. Situated on the Gower Peninsula, Britain’s first designated area of outstanding natural beauty, Fairwood Park is an 18-hole undulating parkland championship golf course situated in 150 acres of majestic terrain and is located just 15 minutes from Swansea.
Their new site: www.fairwoodpark.com showcases the beauty of the golf course by using pictures in their banner design. The site also incorporates an interactive golf course map that allows the visitor to select and view each hole of the course. Working closely with the Swansea Bay IT Support Centre’s ecommerce advisor, Rhian Penfold, the company has identified how its site can appeal to two different markets, firstly their existing members and secondly potential new members or day visitors.
The site is updated on a regular basis through a Web based Content Management System. “The site has breathed new life into Fairwood Park Golf Club’s e-presence, we are thrilled with the final look of the site, its easy to update and has opened up new opportunities to interact with our members” Erol Golbas, Director.
